But as I looked at the beautifully displayed chocolate, I realized that I didn't want it. As in, didn't have a craving. I knew it would taste good, but it just didn't appeal to me. I would rather be healthy than eat what is undeniably sweet-tasting junk. This is a first for me! Usually a meal isn't over until I've had a serving (or four) of chocolate.
I realize that I'm only two weeks into my new lifestyle, but already I feel different. The things that were so important to me before aren't important any more. I can't see a difference, but I'm convinced it's there. For the first time in my life I'm moving in concert with my body instead of against it.
And it feels really good.

You go! This is a wonderful way of looking at loosing weight and getting to a healthy life style. I am surprised you didn't have cravings, I know for me, 2 weeks, I start craving the crap. Maybe your body is getting use to the healthy stuff and the taste for the sugar/fat stuff is really decreasing. I am really happy for you. You are inspiring to me!
Keep up the good work - I know that there are temptations everywhere, especially around the holidays!

Good luck on your diet journey. The biggest thing is that the word "diet" is getting a bad rap. Diet is what we eat. We all have a diet, whether it's healthy or not. Let's get off the diet mindset and call it healthy eating.
Did I hear chocolate? No, no.
Again, good luck. Keep it up.
