"Let it go, start over, and kick ass"

L-Unit said that to me yesterday after reading my posts. It was what I needed to hear. It helped me see that I needed to stop beating myself up and start moving forward. So after a day of tears and disappointment, I got on my bike and pedaled. I pushed myself harder than I have before. It paid off. When I was finished, I had burned 35 more calories than I had before and boosted my mood completely. I moved from feeling defeated to feeling victorious. I knew I'd be sore the next day (and I am, but not terribly), but it was so worth it to feel good at the end of the day. To feel accomplished - to feel as though the day was not a total loss after all. I'm beginning to realize that exercising is a type of drug - it makes you want more. I can't wait until it warms up here in Maine and I can begin to run.

YAY! Good for you. We all have set backs in our lives and we really show what we are made of when we work to overcome them. I'm so proud of you! (And PS - thanks for your compliments on my appearance, you should know that I am your height and only weigh 10 pounds less than you....I'm a firm believer that we have curves for a reason!!)

Thanks for getting me the link information...I read your post on your first 100 days of marriage and really loved your frankness about it. Sometimes everyone sugar-coats everything to the point that we don't know what's real anymore.

I'm enjoying your blog. Keep posting! I want to know how you're doing with your goals.

I ONLY let you swap Vin for Corey cuz I ASSUME you have not yet LAMINATED your list...correct?

I did see him on a rerun of the 32 Corey's (or whatever that show is) and he has aged well.

Hallie :)
