Great photos! The one of Bear is extra special, what a cutie! It really is a great shot of him. Can't help you with the flower, but it is pretty, sort of sunflowerish, but not. How is that for my flower experience?

Eileen, I thought the same thing! It looks like some sort of brown-eyed Susan/sunflower hybrid. It grew totally wild on the banks of the stream that borders my property. Hmm...
